For the Giants, those two words came as a relief when coach Brian Daboll gave an update on offensive lineman Jermaine El-Emunor’s health on Thursday.
“No big deal,” Daboll said.
This gave the Giants a moment of relief.
El Emnor, who was playing as the starting right tackle, went down early after making accidental contact with big nose tackle Dexter Lawrence during the Giants’ first training camp practice on Wednesday.
“Anyone who gets hit by Dex is going to be hurt,” Daboll said.
Elemnor got down on all fours on the field, then left the field with his trainer.
He left the game with pain in his right side around the ribs after the contact with Lawrence.
“All is well,” El Munno posted on his X account on Wednesday night.
He was able to take part in individual workouts during Thursday morning practice.

El Emnore, who signed a two-year, $14 million contract this offseason, will be the Raiders’ starting right tackle in 2023 and has position versatility as an eight-year veteran.
With Evan Neal still recovering from ankle surgery and on the physically unable to play list, Eluemunor, who has been the starter at left guard all spring, will step in as the starter at right tackle.
