Dave RubinAs a former Democrat, he loves to see the left wake up and humble themselves enough to switch teams.
Perhaps no one embodies this more than tech billionaire Elon Musk, a longtime Democrat who has been unashamed in his criticism of the radical left’s embrace of wokeism and praise for the right’s rejection of it.
In a recent interview with Musk by Jordan Peterson, Peterson asked Musk about his support for Trump, which in some ways clarified Musk’s political leanings.

“So you’ve clearly decided to throw your weight around the Trump administration in the upcoming election,” Peterson said.
“I believe we need a change of government. Years ago, the Democrats were the party of meritocracy and individual liberty. They once were the party of free speech, but more recently they seem to have become the party of censorship disguised as hate speech,” Musk said.
“The weird thing is, in my view, the Republican Party is actually the party of meritocracy, because the Democrats are also promoting DEI, which is really just another form of racism and sexism,” he continued.
“I think this is the most harmful form of DEI,” Peterson said of DEI, pointing to the fact that it “insists on separating people into groups.”
Musk agreed, adding that “I think Democrats are stoking division,” and that “Republicans are about meritocracy and individual freedom.”
