Trump Announces Return to Butler, Where He Was Almost Assassinated, For Another Rally

Former President Donald Trump boldly announced that he would return to the town of Butler, Pennsylvania, where he was nearly assassinated.

Trump is set to hold a rally to remember slain firefighter Corey Comperatore, 50, and two other victims injured in the July 13 crash.Number A rally led by a 20-year-old shooter.

“I will be returning to Butler, Pennsylvania for a big, beautiful rally to honor the spirit of our beloved firefighter hero Corey and the brave patriots who were wounded two weeks ago. What a day it will be. Fight, fight, fight! More details to come,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Since the assassination attempt, the Secret Service has come under intense scrutiny from both Republican and Democratic lawmakers, leading to the resignation of former Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle.

Since then, Trump, his team and Republican supporters have raised more than $6 million for the victims’ families and unveiled Comperatore’s firesuit onstage at the Republican National Convention.
