Robbie Starbuck, a filmmaker who has previously exposed corporate consciousness-raising campaigns, has now turned to Harley-Davidson, and things aren’t looking good for the national motorcycle manufacturer.
“What he found was total treason.” Glenn Beck Beck explains, pointing out that before the Starbucks revelations, he considered Harley-Davidson a “true American brand.”
“I just couldn’t believe it,” Starbuck told Beck, “because Harley is such a macho brand and everyone knows someone who rides a Harley, and Harley is the polar opposite of who they are.”
As Starbucks researched its brand, it found that the sustainability report contained a lot of information its loyal American customers probably wanted to know.
“It turns out they had sent 1,800 employees to these awareness trainings, including one group of employees who went to diversity training that was just for white males,” Starbuck said.
But that’s not all.
“Going further, they have a plan they call ‘diversifying their supply chain,’ which is really just corporate slang for ‘we want to be less white,'” Starbucks continues. “This idea is the furthest thing from the American Dream.”
Harley-Davidson also funded the Pride event, which is described as “all ages.”
Starbuck said the Pride event also had an “anger room” “right across from the area where the drag queens interacted with kids during story time” and a “dad-play area for people who were having issues with their dads.”
“This is no joke,” Starbuck said, adding that it is “completely antithetical to the values of a Harley rider.”
The company is also reportedly a founding member of the Wisconsin LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce.
“They also made February and March inclusion months because we need three months and not just Pride month,” Glenn commented. “The money they donated to the United Way is going towards promoting ‘Anti-Racist Baby,’ Ibram Kendi, and they’re also doing Pride rides.”
“It goes on and on,” he added, shocked.
