Jillian Michaels blasts Olympics opening ceremony for ‘hypocrisy’ following Last Supper ‘mockery’

Fitness guru Jillian Michaels 2024 Paris Olympics She called it a “mockery” of “The Last Supper.”

Michaels took to social media to speak out against the LGBTQ+ community, saying he saw “hypocrisy” and “lack of understanding” in a parody of “The Last Supper” that featured several drag queens.

“Dear gay people…we ask for tolerance and respect, yet we mock what is sacred. Over 2 billion Christians” Michaels wrote in X’s post.

“Such hypocrisy and lack of understanding is disgusting. We get angry when the far right attacks us, but then we do this horrible thing. How do you think they will react to the LGBTQ+ community after this? This is not how we break down barriers, it’s how we build them up.”

Michaels joined the mass outrage that erupted after his performance on Friday night, when several drag queens and other performers were seen mocking a scene from Leonardo da Vinci’s famous painting that depicts Jesus and his apostles sharing a final meal before his crucifixion.

Kansas City Chiefs Kicker Harrison Butker, who made headlines in May when he expressed his faith-based views during a commencement speech at a Catholic university in Kansas, also slammed the performance on social media, calling it “insane.”

He also quoted the Bible, “Do not be deceived, God will not be mocked.”
