In an interview that aired on CNN’s “AC360” on Friday, the Michigan voter who works at the Stellantis Assembly Plant and is described as a “fervent” supporter of former President Donald Trump, the 2024 Republican presidential nominee, said Vice President Kamala Harris, the 2024 Democratic presidential nominee, entering the race “ruins the equation” because if she wins, “it’s the end of America.”
“It’s shift change time for union workers at the Sterling Heights Stellantis Assembly Plant in Macomb County, where Ram 1500s are assembled. While many are enthusiastic about Kamala Harris, I also met plenty of fervent Trump supporters who say the new challenger has made them more enthusiastic about the former president,” CNN national correspondent Gary Tuchman said while introducing the video.
In the clip, Tuchman asks, “Does Kamala Harris running make anything different for you?”
The worker responded: “Change it? It’ll be ruined. If she gets in, it’ll be over. So…”
Tuchman went on to ask, “What’s the end of it?”
“America is finished,” the worker responded.
