Grammy Award-winning rapper Swae Lee spoke out against Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris on Saturday, urging people not to vote for her.
“DO NOT VOTE FOR KAMALA!!! INVESTIGATE THAT ENTIRE CAMPAIGN,” Lee said on X.

It’s unclear what Lee was referring to, but it could be a reference to the vice president’s record as a prosecutor in California. He later reposted a video of former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) accusing her of prosecutorial misconduct during a Democratic presidential debate.

“Senator Harris is proud of her record as a prosecutor and has said she will be a prosecutor president. But I have deep concerns about that record, including the fact that she sent over 1,500 people to prison for marijuana violations and then laughed when asked if she had ever smoked marijuana,” Gabbard said.
“She suppressed evidence that would have freed an innocent man from death row until a court forced her to do so. She kept people in prison past their sentences to use as cheap labor for the state of California. And she fought to preserve a bail system that impacts the poor the worst,” she added.

“As elected Attorney General of California, I worked to significantly reform the criminal justice system in a state of 40 million people — a national model for the work that needs to be done — and I am proud of that work,” Harris replied.
