The Israel Defense Forces took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to point out fundamental contradictions with the newspaper reports.
“This is the front page of today’s Washington Post, showing grieving families burying their children murdered by Hezbollah in the Majal Shams massacre,” it read.
“If you understand something else from their headlines, you might not be the problem.”

Clearly, the image used in the article did not match the content of the article, and the headline also confused the two and was completely misleading.
Hezbollah fired rockets at the Druze Arab village of Majdal Shams in Israel, killing at least 12 people, including children, on Saturday evening, Breitbart News reported.

A group of kids between 10 and 12 years old were playing a soccer game when the rocket landed on the field.
Witnesses interviewed by Israel’s Channel 13 said warning sirens were heard only when the deadly clashes occurred.
