Bill Maher may not be a Trump supporter, but that hasn’t stopped him from criticizing Joe Biden’s successor, Kamala Harris.
“When it comes to abortion, the biggest Democratic issue, she’s a reminder to women that Republicans are going after the abortion pill. She’s not just defending Plan B, she is Plan B,” Maher joked to the audience.
“Harris will be the first woman president, the first Black woman president, the first Asian president. But I don’t vote for who will be first, I vote for who will win. And for whatever reason, Harris was not popular. You could count the number of delegates she won in the 2020 primaries on one hand, unless you have fingers on that hand,” he continued, to thunderous applause.
Maher also poked fun at his career as a prosecutor and the horrific job of border control, but to his surprise, the audience heard it all and laughed.
“He acknowledges that she’s not popular,” commented Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report,” specifically pointing out his border joke.
“If you care about liberal stuff, if you care about women, minorities, anything like that, the border is the No. 1 issue. It all starts with immigration,” Rubin said.
“Bill acknowledges that nobody likes her. She has no track record of accomplishing anything. And the few jobs she’s had – in this case, the only jobs she’s had in the last three and a half years – have been completely screwed up. That’s the line,” he added.
