of New York Giants We had the honor of being the first NFL team to base an entire offseason on Hard Knocks, and it was so goofy that I’m not sure any other team will ever do it again.
Despite the Giants being performance art, an interesting moment came during the final episode of Hard Knocks, when the Giants revealed their 2024 draft board, complete with tags detailing how they felt about the players featured in the episode.
The Giants leaked color-coded prospects for their 2024 draft class in the final episode of Hard Knocks.
I’m curious to see who was tagged with the code.

I’m curious as to what the codes mean — blue is supposed to mean prioritized players and red is supposed to mean medical or health concerns — but it does make sense that Michael Penis didn’t have a red marker.
Some social media users have been deciphering the board and letting people know what the tags mean, and it makes a lot of sense.
Blue: All-around great leader, teammate and person
Red: Medical Concerns
Purple: Character concerns
Pink: Small/size is a concern
Grey: multiple positions https://t.co/2VAI4usQsL— Doug Analytics (@Doug_Analytics) July 31, 2024
Again, this board is not based on ranking players, but rather on their position in the draft, and the tag is really the category people should look for.
One thing we can say from this offseason is that the Giants really wanted QB Drake Maye. Despite GM Joe Sean’s confidence in QB Daniel Jones and wanting him to have a proving year, the Giants blue-tagged Maye. Add to that the fact that Maye met with teams at the NFL Combine and… The Giants tried to trade up. They came within three points of New England but were denied, showing how desperate they were to land Maye as their QB of the future.
Now they have to deal with Daniel Jones. Again. Good luck!
