Global outrage has been sparked after the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics blatantly mocked Leonardo da Vinci’s famous painting “The Last Supper.” The grotesque parody included drag queens, an obese lesbian playing Jesus, imagery of the Devil and other disturbing elements.
Sara Gonzalez He called it “the most shocking and repulsive inauguration ceremony in existence” and evidence that “we have been hijacked by wokeism and a radical left agenda.”
While many criticized the performance as mocking Christianity, one man, Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, took his analysis much deeper and to some rather unusual points.

In his letter, Viganò described the performance as a “dystopian, eerie dance.”
“In this provocative spectacle, Satan presents himself as the jealous author of all counterfeits, capable only of ruining the perfection of God’s creation. Satan never creates anything; he only ruins everything. He does not invent; he falsifies. And his followers are no exception,” he writes.
But then Viganò moved his analysis into unexpected territory: French President Emmanuel Macron and the Obamas, whom he considers to be American presidents.
“It is no coincidence that the sponsor of this disgusting carnival is Emmanuel Macron, an emissary of the World Economic Forum. [sic]”Just as Barack Obama has a muscular man in a wig, he has no problem passing off a woman in drag as his wife. This is mystification, this lie, this rule of fiction created as a totem, which disfigures man precisely because he was created in the image and likeness of God,” Viganò said.
