It’s safe to say Caitlin Clark is having a blast during the WNBA’s Olympic break.
Fever rookie and teammate Lexi Hull surprised fans by appearing together on stage at country singer Jordan Davis’ concert in Indianapolis on Wednesday, as seen in a video on social media.
Clark, who is enjoying a much-needed break after not being selected as one of the 12 players on the U.S. team for the Paris Olympics, and Hull, the sixth overall pick in the 2022 WNBA Draft, got the crowd going by singing his song “Buy Dirt” alongside Davis.
“Kaitlyn Clark and Lexi Hull, guys!” Davis yelled before embracing the pair onstage at the Amphitheatre.
The moment came after the 36-year-old singer stopped by the ThunderDome for an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” earlier in the day.
Clark and Hull have been on holiday together and there have been numerous photos posted on social media of him on a boat with Fever forward Katie Lou Samuelson.
Clark joked during the Fever’s practice on Tuesday that he wished he’d spent a little more time in the sun.
“Taiyo. I still look pale.” She said When asked what she was deprived of during her time off, she replied: “I’m still deprived of sunshine.”
The former Hawkeyes guard, who became the NCAA Division I men’s and women’s all-time leading scorer during her senior year at Iowa, has previously joked about wanting to get away from the game early during her off-time.
“I’m on vacation!” Clark joked. “Well, this is my first press conference in a month,” she said at her first WNBA All-Star post-game press conference on July 20. “I’m going to take your questions now.”
“Honestly, I can’t wait to not touch a basketball for a while. I’ve taken too many shots this past year.”
The 22-year-old Iowa native recorded four points, one rebound and 10 assists in the All-Star Game, helping the WNBA team defeat Team USA.

It’s been nearly a year since Clark took an extended break from basketball, having moved on to the WNBA after the NCAA Championships in April.
Two weeks after leading Iowa to an 87-75 loss to South Carolina in the NCAA finals, Clark was selected first overall by the Fever.
On Tuesday, Gamecocks coach Dawn Staley spoke about Clark being left out of this year’s Olympic team.
“If we had to do it all over again, the way she’s playing, she’d have a very good chance of making the team because she’s so much better than the other players.” Staley told NBC’s Mike Tirico. During the Paris Summer Olympics.
Clark and the Fever will face the Mercury at home on Aug. 16.
