According to information obtained by Fox News, President Biden’s administration is planning foreign visits for the president’s final months in office, with an eye on his biggest foreign policy priorities.
Much of Biden’s term has focused on defending Ukraine against Russian aggression, strengthening the NATO alliance and pursuing peace in the Middle East.
Biden’s team is considering possible visits to Europe, the Middle East and Africa, according to sources familiar with the plans, who stressed that the plans are subject to change and remain largely undetermined.
Biden himself promised earlier this year that he would visit Africa “in February after reelection,” and White House officials want to ensure the trip happens before Biden leaves office.

Biden is also scheduled to attend the G20 summit in Brazil from Nov. 18 to 20. The White House may extend the visit to the APEC summit in Peru from Nov. 10 to 16.

Democrats began a virtual roll call on Thursday to formally nominate Harris. Unlike Republicans, who held an in-person roll call at their convention in Milwaukee last month, the Democratic National Convention is holding a virtual roll call that is scheduled to conclude on Monday, two weeks before the convention begins Aug. 19 at the United Center in Chicago.
One of those five Democrats could be Harris’ running mate.
