Fans Erupt in Anger After Olympic Boxer Alleged to Have Male Chromosomes, Defeats Female Fighter in Under a Minute

Millions of sports fans are protesting against the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for allowing an athlete disqualified from the 2023 Games for suspected male chromosomes to compete against a female opponent on Thursday.

Just 46 seconds into what was supposed to be the biggest fight of her life, Italian Olympic boxer Angela Carini realized she couldn’t beat Algerian boxer Imane Khalife, who had failed a gender test administered by the International Boxing Federation. 46 seconds later, Carini left the ring and gave up hope of winning an Olympic medal.

Karini gave up on his dream of winning an Olympic gold medal. Said “My heart is broken. I stepped into the ring to honour my father. I’ve been called a warrior many times but I’ve decided to stop for the sake of my health. I’ve never taken a punch like this,” he was quoted as saying by Media.

“I’ve never been hit that hard in my life,” she added in a separate post-match interview.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni also criticised the IOC for allowing this to happen. To tell“Athletes with male genetic characteristics should not be able to participate in women’s sports. Not because we want to discriminate against anyone, but because we want to protect the right of female athletes to compete on an equal footing.”

Millions of people were outraged by the IOC’s decision to allow Khelif to compete against women and took to social media to condemn the Olympics.

Women’s rights activist Riley Gaines derided the IOC’s push for “inclusion.”

Tennis great Martina Navratilova Harry potter Author J.K. Rowling also slammed the Olympics for the “farce.”

X-user Darren Grimes pointed out that the man had recently been banned from boxing as a woman, but the IOC had allowed him to do so.

Many others agreed that the situation was outrageous.
