CBS Hides Biden’s Huge Border Inflow in July

CBS News is declaring President Joe Biden a victory at the border by touting a drop in border arrivals in July, while hiding the fact that an additional 100,000 invited economic migrants continue to flow into American workplaces and communities.

Camilo Montoya Galvez, a Colombian-born immigrant reporter for CBS, Claimed Aug. 1:

The U.S. Border Patrol apprehended about 56,000 migrants between official points of entry along the U.S.-Mexico border in July, the lowest number since September 2020, when it reported about 55,000 apprehensions. [leaked] Preliminary data from Customs and Border Protection.

Even as Vice President Kamala Harris campaigns for the White House, CBS allowed Biden’s pro-immigration border chief to claim credit.

“This is the result of a number of steps that the administration has taken,” Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas told CBS News in an interview this week. Mayorkas noted that those steps include “executive orders by the president that have limited asylum across ports of entry and removed smugglers.”

“Despite bipartisan proposals, Congress has failed to act, politics have gotten in the way and the president has taken decisive action with an executive order,” Mayorkas told CBS.

However, paragraph 5 of the report acknowledges that:

Them [July] That figure does not include arrivals at official border crossings known as ports of entry, where the Biden administration is processing about 1,500 migrants per day. Phone app The appointments will be distributed to people waiting in Mexico.

An influx of 1,500 people per day equates to approximately 45,000 people per month, 500,000 people per year, and 2 million people over four years.

These migrants are being admitted through Mayorkas’ “CBP One” mobile app. The influx is being legally challenged, but Mayorkas recently suggested he has the legal authority to increase CBOP One inflows regardless of the impact on Americans’ communities and wallets.

The CBS report also conceals the roughly 40,000 economic migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela arriving at airports each month, a figure Mayorkas and his allies have described as an influx of legal “humanitarian parole.” The influx is mentioned in the 16th paragraph but without any figures or pending litigation.

The addition of CBP One and CHNV migrants will increase the White House’s monthly inflows from 56,000 to about 140,000, roughly triple President Donald Trump’s September 2020 inflows cited by CBS.

Mayorkas’ monthly influx of immigrants is 140,000, bringing it to 1.7 million per year, nearly double the number of legal immigrants set by Congress each year.

Many illegal immigrants cross the border secretly — recent estimates put the figure at roughly 100,000 each month — and this influx means that Mayorkas is allowing roughly 3 million migrants across the border each year, despite his claims that he is cracking down.

This massive influx of capital will result in huge amounts of wealth flowing from working Americans to investors and Wall Street.

The CBS report acknowledged that Mexico is helping shrink the border by blocking migrants inside Mexico from moving northward, but it adopted the policy in December to help defeat President Donald Trump in November’s election, and there is little evidence that Mexico will continue the policy after the election.

The article also ignores the growing number of people arriving through the official refugee program: More than 60,000 such migrants have been screened and fast-tracked by Mayorkas’ deputies, many of them from stable countries.

Mayorkas is a pro-immigration zealot who has opened numerous loopholes that allow millions of economic migrants to cross into the U.S. and refuses any criticism of the deadly elite-backed wealth transfer policies. “The rights and needs of individuals receiving humanitarian assistance in the United States cannot be exploited for political purposes,” he told ABC News on January 1.

Extract Migration

Since at least 1990, the federal government has quietly adopted extractive migration policies to grow the consumer economy after helping investors relocate high-wage manufacturing sectors to low-wage countries.

Immigration policies extract huge amounts of human capital from impoverished countries: additional workers, white-collar graduates, consumers, renters. Boost stock prices By cutting American wages, subsidizing less productive businesses, raising rents, and sending real estate prices soaring.

Donald Trump’s campaign recognizes the economic impact of immigration. Biden’s unpopular policies “flood the American workforce with millions of low-wage illegal immigrants, a direct attack on the wages and opportunity of hard-working Americans,” the Trump campaign said in a May statement.

This secretive economic policy has siphoned jobs and wealth from the Midwestern states by providing coastal investors and government agencies with a flood of low-wage workers, over-occupied renters and subsidized consumers. Similar policies are harming the people and economies of Canada and the UK.

Policies like colonialism have also harmed small nations and killed hundreds of Americans and thousands of immigrants, including: Taxpayer-Funded Jungle Trail Through the Darien Canyon in Panama.
