Offset has given his approval to Cardi B’s divorce filing.

In the yet-to-be-released song, Offset appears to rap about being “single” and that “this tension is old.”
Page Six broke the news on Thursday that the couple had split after nearly seven years of marriage. A rep for Cardi said the pregnant actress had filed the previous day, seeking full custody of their 6-year-old daughter, Kulture, and 2-year-old son, Wave.
“They have become estranged,” the source said. “That’s what has driven her to make this decision more than anything. This is what she wants.”
Hours later, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper, 31, revealed to her Instagram followers that she is pregnant with her third child.
“Every ending comes with a new beginning!,” she captioned her first pregnancy experience. I am so grateful to have shared this season with you all. You have brought me more love, more life, and most of all, renewed strength!”
Cardi continued, “I love you so much and I can’t wait for you to witness all the things you’ve done to help me and push me forward. It’s so much easier to lie down and take life’s twists and trials, but you, your brothers, and your sisters have taught me that it’s worth it!”
Though she and Offset have split and reconciled multiple times in the past, sources say she has no intention of giving up this time.
The “Hustlers” star last declared himself “single” in December 2023 on Instagram.
“I want to start 2024 fresh,” she said at the time. “I’m interested in new life, new beginnings. I’m excited.”
However, Cardi admitted that she slept with Offset on New Year’s Eve.
The pair continued to flaunt their reconciliation with public dates and family trips to Disneyland in Paris.
Cardi declined to reveal the current status of their relationship during an interview with Rolling Stone in May.
“We love each other, so we think about it a lot,” she says. “It’s not a question of, ‘How do I break up with my partner?’ It’s how do I stop talking to my best friend?”
Offset, who has three more children with his ex-wife, sparked cheating rumors two months later, which he denied on Instagram Live.
