A new poll reveals that Vice President Kamala Harris’ slate of potential running mates remains widely unknown to the public.
A new AP-NORC poll asked Americans what they think of the three candidates being considered to be Harris’ running mate: Sen. Mark Kelly, D-Arizona; Gov. Josh Shapiro, D-Pennsylvania; and Gov. Andy Beshear, D-Kentucky.
One candidate was ranked the most favorable among the survey’s Democratic respondents.
Senator Kerry had the highest favorability rating of any candidate, with about 45% of Democratic respondents having a favorable opinion of the senator.
