Kamala Harris Rambles Incoherently in First Comments to Press
Vice President Kamala Harris delivered one of her infamous strings of lines while speaking unscripted about the prisoner swap with Russia on Thursday.
Harris frequently comes up with bizarre phrases and explanations for simple ideas, such as marveling at Venn diagrams in 2022 and speaking at length about “the importance of the passage of time” at another time.
“This is just an incredible testament to the importance of having a president who understands the power of diplomacy and the strength that comes from understanding the importance of diplomacy,” Harris said, waving her hands and looking serious.

It was Harris’ second awkward remark in 24 hours. It is called On Thursday, during a memorial speech for former Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, she referred to herself as “President.”
Perhaps these gaffes are why Ms Harris has appeared to avoid questions from the media — she hasn’t given a serious interview since becoming the Democratic Party’s de facto nominee — and even Democrats have taken note of what appears to be her strategy.
“The vice president is showing all of us that he doesn’t need to do high-profile interviews and press conferences to grab the attention of the media and voters,” said Democratic strategist Christy Setzer. Said of hill“You could say she has a strong communications strategy.”
Another reason Harris is avoiding the media is fear of answering questions about her far-left policies, many of which the vice president has already appeared to backtrack on, though the change in course was made by anonymous aides.
An anonymous spokesperson for Harris’ campaign said she no longer supports a “federal jobs guarantee.” Said of Washington Examiner on wednesday The New York Timesreport Citing anonymous campaign officials on Monday, she said she now (1) supports fracking, (2) wants more funding for the border, (3) doesn’t want to require people to sell assault weapons to the government, and (4) no longer supports “single-payer health care.”
