It would be no exaggeration to say that the news last month was full of surprises. The first surprise was Presented at the debateIt shows how senile and demented Joe Biden is. State of the Union Address A few months ago, Biden was visibly slowing down, slurring his speech, relying on verbal supports like numbering his points or repeating certain phrases (such as “the idea that …”), rambling on incoherently, and constantly losing his train of thought. When he wasn’t speaking, Biden would gape at his mouth and seem confused about where he was.
The second surprise is President Trump assassination attemptnarrowly escaping death. Moreover, he turned this horrific attack into an opportunity for leadership, reassuring the crowd with a show of force and yelling, “Fight! Fight! Fight!” What should have been the final defeat for Trump and the MAGA movement was turned into a most inspirational moment. They looked like the winners and their opponents looked like the evil losers.
The Democrat gaslighting will inevitably continue because that is all they can do for now and they still believe it will work.
In this vein, the third big surprise is Biden’s announcement He insisted he would stay in the race, then withdrew. He is weak and unpopular, and getting worse by the day. There was no reasonable way to make him into a strong candidate to challenge his own presidential candidacy. A semi-mythical opponent.
So where does this leave us? And what should Americans think? Biden’s replacement candidate, for now, is his diversity-focused, foolish vice presidential candidate, Kamala Harris. But there are more surprises in store. Though Harris is currently receiving favorable (almost hagiographic) coverage, it’s entirely possible that the undemocratic Democratic elites will turn their attention to someone else at the national convention later this month. These shadowy figures might nominate Josh Shapiro, Gavin Newsom, Gretchen Whitmer, or even Hillary Clinton as their big November hopes.
While it may be comforting for conservatives to revel in the Democratic Party’s mess (which is usually a Republican problem), they should resist the urge to fix it. Seth Baron, Editor in Chief of The American Mind Post to X“Republicans need to stop worrying on behalf of Democrats. Biden is their candidate and if they don’t like him, that’s their problem.”
Democrats have no one to blame but themselves. They’ve been aligned with Biden for four years, I gaslighted myself and others. He is”Very sharp“And they’re doing a great job.
Gaslighting will inevitably continue because it is the only tool the Democrats have right now and they still believe it works. Despite the heroic view, they still think that Trump and his supporters are too crazy, stupid, and aggressive, so the Democrats will win the election by default. The strategy is to revise the message and trust the power of their own brand.
Consider the evolution of the left since Trump’s election. As a result of the relentless propaganda against Trump and his supporters, almost all of the left has come to view conservatives and members of the MAGA movement as completely Ignorant and ignorant bigots People who routinely deny reality, believe in superstitions, and lack any rational capacity.
As for Trump himself, they said he was Silly clown and Dangerous Liar They are intent on subverting American democracy. This makes absolutely no sense, but cognitive dissonance has never been a problem for the left.
Given all this, there is every reason to assume that the left truly believes it can bounce back from the assassination attempt on a Republican front-runner and the Democratic primary and still be in a strong position. Meanwhile, anyone not caught up in this madness can easily see that a deeply corrupt and dangerous party is intent on staying in power by any means necessary.
The project of radicalizing the entire left movement is nearing completion. With the election of a new Democratic presidential candidate, left leaders, activists, influencers, the press, and the general public are adhering to the principle that they cannot be wrong. They reject the other outright and no longer offer logical justification for their positions or admit their hypocrisy. They assume that they are the side of light, truth, and justice, and that the other side is the side of darkness, lies, and duplicity.
Not surprisingly, this arrogance and complacency has turned many on the left into a caricature of conservatives: ignorant, superstitious, intolerant, and extreme. To make matters worse, the rise of alternative media has led to an increasing number of people on the right who are more grounded in reality, more informed about today’s issues, and more aware of the weakness of the other side’s arguments. This is why conservatives cannot hope in vain to win on the strength of their ideas and the virtue of their political representatives.
But this will not work with extremists whose calculations are increasingly dependent on political power and relentless propaganda. Currently, the left, and especially left-leaning corporate elites, hold most of the power and will continue to abuse it until they are politically and culturally disarmed. Conservatives need to be smarter, more strategic, more astute, and overall sane, in their long-term efforts to disarm in order to win the upcoming elections and save American democracy.
