Police say a young man’s body was found floating in the Harlem River Sunday morning.
Police said the body of the unidentified man, believed to be in his 20s, was discovered shortly after 9:30 a.m. when authorities responded to a 911 call reporting that an unconscious man had been found face-down in the river near East 106th Street.
The NYPD’s Port Division pulled his body from the water and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The city medical examiner’s office will formally determine the man’s cause of death, authorities said.
The discovery comes two days after an unidentified woman was found floating in the East River near East 23rd Street around 10:50 a.m. Friday, authorities said.

Police said the body was initially found further up the Upper East Side and appears to have washed up downtown.
Police said the woman’s identity had not been released as of Sunday and the investigation remained ongoing.
