Simone Biles is just trying to enjoy the moment.
Biles further cemented her status as one of the greatest gymnasts of all time with her gold medal in the women’s vault final on Saturday, her third gold medal of the season. 2024 Paris Olympics.
Biles stood atop the podium at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, becoming just the second woman in Olympic history to win the vault title twice.

But this will be her third Olympics, one of only five athletes to have competed in four.
Biles will be 31 by the time of the Los Angeles Games and, although she showed no signs of slowing down in Paris, she will certainly be considered “old” in the gymnastics world.
But Biles is still rewriting the history books, and she’s just having fun doing it, so she took some subtle jab at the media and just about anyone who asks specific questions.

She won gold in the women’s team all-around final earlier this week, passing Shannon Miller for the most Olympic medals by any U.S. gymnast with eight. But on Thursday, Biles sought to add to her medal tally in the women’s individual all-around, winning her sixth gold medal with a spectacular floor exercise.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Biles, but given her continued dominance, it’s interesting to consider what might happen next.
But you can’t blame her for wanting to soak it all up.
