Harris camp mocks Trump over 'low energy' campaign schedule

Vice President Harris’ campaign mocked former President Trump’s “low-energy” schedule as he plans to tour multiple states this week.

The Harris campaign account published a post comparing the vice president’s schedule over the next week side-by-side with Trump’s campaign schedule.

The footage shows Harris campaigning in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Arizona and Nevada, with Trump making one stop in Montana.

“@realdonaldtrump, how are you?” Campaign I have written.

The only campaign stop was Trump’s campaign website As of Monday afternoon, his rally was scheduled for Friday in Bozeman, Montana.

Harris is due to announce her running mate on Tuesday in Philadelphia, where she will kick off a five-day, seven-state campaign tour.

She and her running mate are scheduled to visit Wisconsin and Michigan on Wednesday, North Carolina and Georgia on Thursday, Arizona on Friday and Nevada on Saturday.

Harris won enough delegates last week to become the Democratic Party’s presumptive nominee as her campaign gathered momentum.

A new CBS News/YouGov poll conducted Sunday showed Harris leading the former president by one point nationally and tied with Trump in key battleground states.

The Trump campaign announced Monday that his running mate, Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio), will be on a multi-state tour this week, visiting many of the same states as Harris and speaking in Philadelphia on Tuesday.

Vance is scheduled to visit Shelby Township, Michigan, and Eau Claire, Wisconsin, on Wednesday, when Harris will visit both key battleground states, before speaking in North Carolina on Thursday, her campaign said.

The Hill has reached out to the Trump campaign for comment.
