TikTok star David Allen opened up Sunday about the heartbreaking loss of his newborn daughter late last month.
“I think I’ve cried all the tears I could possibly shed,” Allen told his millions of social media followers. “It’s not easy and I wouldn’t wish this on anyone.”
The baby, named Lily Grace Allen, was born June 21 and died July 27, Allen said.
“I don’t even know what to say. I waited a week to talk about it because I didn’t know how to say it,” he said. Said. “So I don’t really know what else to say. I just wanted to get that across, I guess.”
Allen, whose social media handle is @ToTouchAnEmu, has raved about her adorable daughter’s cuteness in several social media posts in the five weeks since her birth.
“June 21st introducing Lily Allen. You’re definitely going to get content from my baby. Sorry in advance,” he joked in the Instagram caption, adding a heart emoji.
In a solemn post on Sunday, he said that becoming parents to Lily with his wife Jessica is “the most amazing thing” he’s ever done.
The video creator, who has more than 10 million followers on TikTok, urged his followers to donate to Children’s Medical Center Dallas or “just hold your little one and give them a big hug for me.”
Her memorial service is scheduled to be held in Texas on Tuesday, he noted.
The cause of the newborn’s death has not been made public.
