Oh honey, no!
A painful new health tip that claims to cure eye ailments with raw honey is becoming a hot topic on TikTok.
Devotees claim that applying a few drops of Himerit raw honey to the eyes will eliminate floaters, the black spots that cloud your vision, and even cure glaucoma and cataracts.

Proponents of Honey Drops claim that they contain a glucose molecule called trehalose, which helps cells retain moisture and relieves dry eyes, a condition in which the eyes don’t produce enough tears or the tears evaporate too quickly, causing a gritty, painful irritation.

She took a few breaths and reported that “everything feels very clear” and that she planned to continue using the eye drops, despite the obvious pain.
