Cori Bush brutally defeated in Dem primary — responds with unhinged tirade: ‘I’m coming to tear your kingdom down’

On Tuesday night, Rep. Cori Bush (D-Missouri) suffered a crushing defeat in the Democratic primary to Wesley Bell, making Bush the second member of the “Squad” to lose a House seat, joining Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-New York).

Bell, who is backed by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, won by more than five points over Bush, according to election results posted Wednesday afternoon. NBC NewsAt the time, about 97% of the votes had been counted.

“Look, I don’t have to worry about the conditions I put on you anymore,” Bush shouted into the microphone. “All they did was radicalize me. So now [they] There is no need to be afraid.”

“AIPAC, I’m here to destroy your kingdom,” she added, referring to the pro-Israel group. Bush, a vocal supporter of Palestine, blamed AIPAC for the defeat. She had previously accused Bell of “trying to buy the seat.”

“And I’m warning all these companies, I’m coming after you guys, but I’m not coming alone, I’m coming with everyone here,” she continued in her defiant rant.
