While details about Darcy’s resignation have not been released, it is common knowledge that CNN is in serious financial trouble. Already, the left-wing propaganda outlet has cut about 2,000 jobs this year, including about 100 layoffs. Just yesterday, CNN’s parent company, Warner Bros. Discovery, took a $9 billion “impairment charge” on its legacy TV assets, which of course included CNN, which has undoubtedly lost a lot of value. CNN’s ratings are at their lowest in the middle of this hotly contested presidential election.
CNN’s biggest problem is that tens of millions of viewers are moving to streaming and canceling their cable and satellite television (CSTV) packages. CNN is a joke and would not survive in a meritocratic streaming world. Remember, CNN’s streaming service was canceled after just four weeks due to lack of interest. CSTV keeps CNN afloat. Even if no one watches CNN, if your cable package includes it, you’re paying roughly $1 a month in subscription fees to a hated station.
Thankfully, all of this is falling apart, and CNN foresees a future where it will be just an add-on on the Max streaming service that no one watches. So…

Darcy, a habitual liar, is no loss. CNN’s only hope of 1) boosting its ratings and 2) regaining credibility is to ditch losers like Darcy. If CNN wants to clean up its reputation as the laughing stock of the nation, they need to ditch jokes like Darcy.
Darcy spent her entire career at CNN, where she was a vocal supporter of McCarthyism. rage He is anti-American and seeks to blacklist and censor center-right opinion. He is an outspoken fascist who seeks to silence, exclude and criminalize speech and ideas with which he disagrees.
Darcy was also a super-spreader of misinformation.
At issue is what will become of the laughably titled “Reliable Sources” newsletter that Darcy used to spread prejudice and lies after CNN fired Brian Stelter after 30 years. A trusted source TV shows have been canceled, and with any luck, America will soon phase out newsletters too.

CNN would be wise to erase this stain on their credibility as a trusted source. If CNN wants to feature this media, they should start from scratch with a new brand that they can tarnish, because they know they will. This is a fake news media infected with the cancer that is fake news. There is no hope. It would be so great to see CNN slowly die.
Apparently Darcy plans to start his own fake news newsletter, where he will likely make a comfortable living lying to a left-wing audience that loves to be lied to.
