Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Michael Whatley said all Americans should know that Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (Democrat) is responsible for the George Floyd/Black Lives Matter riots that have burned his state. Breitbart News Daily.
“The No. 1 image that literally needs to be burned into the minds of every American is the four days of riots in Minnesota and the burning of the state of Minnesota because he refused to activate the National Guard,” Whatley said of Walz, who is Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate.
He said this happened despite President Trump calling and offering to send in the National Guard. Trump also accused Walz’s wife of bragging about opening up her house to enjoy the smell of rioters trashing the state.

“The fact that his wife bragged about rolling down the windows so she could enjoy the smell of Minnesota burning, and his daughter was at the protest with them,” he said.
In fact, host Mike Slater shared footage of Waltz’s wife in her own words.
“The first few days of the riots, you could smell burning tires. It was a very real thing. I had my window open as much as I could because I felt that was a touchstone to what was going on,” she said.

Whatley also said Walz “defended the rioters and said it was caused by a lack of inclusion and equity in Minnesota.”
“That city burned and he stood by and refused to call in the National Guard to put down the riots. He’s talked about making Minnesota the first sanctuary state in the country. He’s said he’ll invest in ladder companies to help people get over the wall. He’s given illegal immigrants free health care and free college education, and, you know, he’s doing everything he can to move the border all the way into Minnesota. This puts every Minnesotan at risk,” he said, calling Walz a “real danger” not just to the state but the entire country.
