They will receive “karma”.
Two teenage Swift fans claim their dreams of seeing their idol perform in Poland were almost ruined after a bizarre incident in which an older woman told them “you’re trash” – and a video of the ugly incident has now gone viral.
The woman was on the floor of Warsaw’s PGE Narodowy Stadium, where the pop star played three sold-out shows earlier this month, smiling while harassing young black people because of “the colour of their skin”, a caption accompanying the video claims. A 9-second video posted on TikTok Of the incident.
“Sorry, but you guys look like trash,” the woman told the sisters, ages 15 and 16.
The video appears to have been taken before the concert began, but it is unclear which concert the incident occurred at.
The woman, wearing black-rimmed glasses and a sparkly blue dress and a glittery pink kimono, is seen laughing as she makes the comment, according to the video, which has garnered an astounding 35 million views and nearly 3 million likes.
The sisters accessorized with glamorous eye jewelry, flower crowns and heart-shaped sunglasses.
“Taylor Swift will be so disappointed,” a 16-year-old girl named Neriya wrote in the TikTok caption.
“I have never been harassed like I was at the recent Taylor Swift concert when I was a teenager and grown women harassed me. [sic] “Having my sister and I get married just because we have different skin colour is an experience I’ll never forget,” she wrote in the video’s caption.
The boy did not explain why the incident was racist.
in Another TikTok videoNeriya’s unnamed sister alleged that the same “40-year-old woman” had continued to harass them, calling them “bitch” and telling them to leave the show.
“We don’t react, she just comes back,” Neriya said in a second video.
Fellow Swifties banded together to show their support for their sisters.
“Swifties don’t treat other Swifties like that. Very disrespectful. I’m sorry this happened to you guys. Stay strong,” one user wrote in the comments section of the video.
“ERAS tours have been a safe space for so many women and it was meant to be for you too…I hope this didn’t completely ruin this amazing experience,” another commenter wrote.
In true Swift fan fashion, Neriya wrote on TikTok that she hopes the hateful woman and her friends “get what they deserve.”
Following her performance in Poland, Swift was forced to cancel a concert in Austria this week after US authorities discovered three young people planning an ISIS-style “genocidal” terror attack at Vienna’s Ernst Happel Stadium, where she was scheduled to perform from August 8-10.
