Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has acknowledged that Biden’s team was not on a path to victory but continues to deny she had any involvement in the president’s decision to pull out.

The California lawmaker made the admission during a recent interview to promote his new book.
Speaker Pelosi (D-Calif.) also said she hasn’t spoken to Biden since he made his decision and that if reporters wanted to know if the two were “OK,” they had no choice but to ask him.
“Have you spoken to President Biden since he left office?” host Dana Bash asked.
“No,” Pelosi responded. “No, I haven’t.”
“I hope so,” Bash continued, “is everything okay between you two?”
“I’ll have to ask him,” Pelosi replied, “but I hope so.”
Meanwhile, Pelosi and other Democratic leaders reportedly privately urged Biden to withdraw following his poor performance in a debate with President Donald Trump in June.
