Elle King says Rob Schneider sent her to ‘fat camp’ as a kid

She is not her father’s lover.

Elle King (35) spoke about the complicated relationship she had with her father, Rob Schneider, growing up. In an edited teaser Monday’s episode of Bunnie XO “Dumb Blonde” Podcast.

“It’s been four or five years since I’ve spoken to my dad,” the “America’s Sweetheart” singer, 35, said in a video shared Saturday.

“After the record was released, people finally started asking about my dad. He called me and said, ‘Don’t talk about me in the press.'”

King is the daughter of Schneider, 60, and a former model. London King, They divorced in 1989, the year after King was born.

“I was a really fat kid, and my dad sent me to obesity camp,” she continued, “and then one year I sprained my ankle and I didn’t lose weight, so that got me in trouble.”

The clip then cuts to King saying it’s “very harmful and very stupid.”

“I don’t agree with a lot of what he says,” she said of her father.

“You’re talking bullshit and you’re talking crap about drugs and, you know, anti-gay rights and you’re like, f**k you,” she continued, apparently referring to the former “Saturday Night Live” star.

King added: “He’s just talking without evidence. I would like to take this opportunity to say no. I don’t agree with what he’s saying.”

The Grammy nominee also said that Schneider “has never helped me. I have never wanted his help.”

“He didn’t have a very good reputation either,” she continued. “I don’t want to have anything to do with him. He’s just not a nice person. Sometimes I really wish someone would change. You can’t control other people’s actions. You can’t control other people’s emotions. All you can control is how you react and how you handle your emotions.”

“And sometimes I get so angry, so overwhelmed, I feel like I’m going crazy.”

King also claimed her father “forgot every single one of his birthdays.”

“I spent my 18th birthday at summer school and everyone bought me cupcakes, and when I got home my dad had forgotten it was my birthday,” she recalled.

The Post has reached out to Schneider’s representatives for comment.

King grew up largely estranged from her father and has previously spoken about their tumultuous relationship.

Schneider, meanwhile, has avoided talking about his relationship with King for many years. Posted a message of condolence to his eldest daughter on Instagram For her birthday last July.

“I am overwhelmed by your incredible spirit, determination and incredible talent,” Schneider wrote about King. “You are such an inspiration to me, your sisters and Patti! We love you and can’t wait to meet and hug you soon!”
