Former President Trump maintains that “no one” was on the runway in Detroit to greet Vice President Harris at a campaign event in the Motor City last week, despite unedited video and images reported by multiple news outlets indicating otherwise.
Trump made the claim in a Truth Social post on Sunday, sharing two photos: one of thousands of Harris supporters reacting to the arrival of Air Force Two at Detroit Metropolitan Airport, and another with a zoomed-in view of the plane’s engine, making it difficult to distinguish the crowd.
“Did anyone notice that Kamala cheated at the airport? There was no one on the plane and she manipulated it with an “AI” to show hordes of so-called followers. But they weren’t there!” Trump declared. “She was handed over to airport maintenance personnel who noticed a fake crowd photo, but there was no one there, which was later confirmed by the reflection in the mirror-like finish of the vice president’s plane.”
“She’s a fraud, no one was waiting and the ‘crowd’ looked like 10,000!” Trump added. However, a media review of the event by Fox News Digital clearly showed that there were plenty of supporters on hand to greet Harris and her new running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.
