Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D), Kamala Harris’ running mate, will headline a fundraiser in Southampton, New York on Thursday and perform with Grammy Award-winning British band Mumford & Sons, Page Six reports. Report.
Entry costs a reported $50,000, but a $75,000 ticket will also get you a photo opportunity with Waltz and admission to a “VIP reception.”
The mainstream press has actively tried to portray Walz as a “people’s man” and “American Father,” while downplaying his far-left, extremist, socialist record as governor of Minnesota.
Governor Walz has promoted a transgender agenda for children by placing tampons in boys’ bathrooms in public schools and signing legislation that strips parental protections for out-of-state teens and children seeking gender reassignment surgery in the state.
Recently, he publicly defended socialism, saying, “What is socialism to one man is love of one’s neighbor to another.”
Under Governor Walz’s leadership, Minnesota offers free college tuition to undocumented immigrants, yet many Minnesotans struggle to pay for their children’s college education.
Walz is currently embroiled in a defamation scandal related to his military service that has put his status as the Democratic nominee in jeopardy.
