Biden-Harris Freed Illegal Alien into U.S. Months Before He Allegedly Murdered Girl

President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’ agencies released an unaccompanied alien child (UAC) who crossed the southern border into the United States illegally just months before the alleged rape and murder of 11-year-old Maria Gonzalez, a House Judiciary Committee report has found.

“The Biden-Harris Administration’s disastrous immigration policies have had real impacts on the American people,” the interim staff report states. state:

The effects of these policies will be felt for years to come, allowing criminals to live in America’s neighborhoods, harm families, and threaten public safety across the country. Maria Gonzalez’s family will never be the same again This is because the Biden-Harris administration’s policies allowed illegal immigrant Juan Carlos Garcia Rodriguez to enter the United States and have his release expedited. According to the report, on January 8, 2023, Juan Carlos Garcia Rodriguez, who was 17 years old at the time, illegally crossed the U.S.-Mexico border into El Paso, Texas, after his parents paid drug cartel smugglers to take him from Guatemala to the United States.

After being taken into custody by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Garcia Rodriguez was classified as a UAC and was referred to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) because he was eligible to resettle in the United States with an adult sponsor.

Garcia Rodriguez told Health and Human Services officials he left Guatemala for “academic and work opportunities,” neither of which are valid reasons for seeking asylum in the United States.

Just days after entering the HHS custody facility, Garcia Rodriguez allegedly threatened to jump the fence and escape the facility. When subsequently confronted by HHS officials, Garcia Rodriguez denied making such a threat. On February 4, 2023, Garcia Rodriguez was placed with an adult sponsor in Shreveport, Louisiana, who was also an undocumented immigrant with a reported criminal record in Guatemala.

HHS officials allowed Garcia Rodriguez to be transferred to her sponsor, even though the adult sponsor had a history of not enrolling in classes after he had been required to place a UAC in his class. Garcia Rodriguez told HHS officials he knew his sponsor from his time in Guatemala.

One month after releasing Garcia Rodriguez to her adult guardian, HHS officials attempted to contact Garcia Rodriguez but were unsuccessful. HHS officials tried again in May 2023 but were also unsuccessful. As of June 7, 2023, the adult guardian was alerted for not having contact with HHS officials regarding Garcia Rodriguez.

Garcia Rodriguez was arrested by police in Pasadena, Texas, about seven months after being released back in the US, after he allegedly raped Maria Gonzalez, strangled her and stuffed her body in a laundry basket and hid it under a bed.

According to police, on Aug. 12, 2023, Gonzalez texted her father, who was away at work, that someone was knocking on the front door of their home, at which point the father sent a family member to check on the girl, but no one was at the apartment.

Her father came home from work and discovered her body in a laundry basket under her bed. A coroner’s report determined she had suffered blunt force trauma and sexual assault.

Garcia Rodriguez was denied bail and remains in custody at the Pasadena Police Department.

The staff interim report specifically noted that in 2017, Kamala Harris said, “illegal immigrants are not criminals” and mocked plans for mass deportation of illegal immigrants from the United States.

“Contrary to the claims of border officials, many of the illegal immigrants allowed into the United States under Vice President Harris’s watch are criminals who victimize Americans and terrorize American communities,” the report said.

More than 400,000 UACs have been released into the U.S. interior since Biden and Harris took office in early 2021, most of whom have been resettled with U.S. adult sponsors who are not their biological parents or relatives.
