Joe Biden is unhappy with the Democratic Party leaders who pushed him out.

New reports suggest Joe Biden remains bitter.

Fox News reported:

According to reports, President Biden still harbors resentment toward Democratic Party officials who plotted to remove him from the 2024 presidential race, even as Democrats prepare for a massive farewell party at the Democratic National Convention.

Biden remains frustrated that former President Barack Obama didn’t tell him face to face that he was backing out, instead relying on his own influence behind the scenes, Politico reported on Tuesday. Biden also resents former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, whom he believes played a major role in forcing him to back out, the outlet reported, citing three sources familiar with Biden’s thinking.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.

A White House source told Politico that Biden views Pelosi as “ruthless” following the July incident.

Joe Biden reportedly harbors a grudge against Obama.

“Biden is now upset that his friend and former boss, Obama, did not call him directly to express his concerns about the race in the aftermath of the disastrous Atlanta debate in late June,” Lemire & Co. wrote in the report. “While the former president did not try to launch a campaign to remove Biden as the top contender, he did nothing to discourage or quell the movement among some close to Biden.”

Biden is reportedly not planning to listen to Obama’s speech.

Politico reported:

Biden is now “fuming that his friend and former boss, Obama, did not call him directly to express his concerns about the race in the aftermath of the disastrous Atlanta debate in late June,” Lemire & Co. wrote. “The former president did not try to launch a campaign to remove Biden from the top spot, but he also did not quell the movement, much to the dismay of some close to Biden.”

Obama will speak at the party’s convention in his hometown of Chicago next Tuesday and is likely to deliver a glowing tribute to the president, but Biden won’t be in the audience to hear it. He will speak on Monday night but won’t attend the rest of the week’s festivities.

ET TU, Senator?Biden and Schumer’s relationship seems likely to improve in the short term, given that they will need to work together on this year’s CR.

But tensions linger.

“Biden and Pelosi remain estranged, but the president spoke to Schumer the day he backed out, according to a person familiar with the call. Biden has not expressed much frustration with Schumer because he doesn’t see him as the person spearheading the effort to oust him. Still, Biden was upset that the leader of the Senate, an institution he respects, helped apply the pressure, two of the people said.
