Biden jokes about impending exit from the White House: ‘Looking for a job’

Speaking to a group of content creators at an event in the West Wing of the White House on Wednesday, President Biden joked about his plans to leave the White House, telling them he’s “looking for a job.”

The White House hosted a Creator Economy conference on Wednesday with social media influencers and other content creators, and in a brief speech, Whitehouse said they could play a key role in curbing partisanship in U.S. politics.

“It’s never been this bad. And I’m not talking about the press, I’m talking about the way we treat each other in politics,” Biden said. “It’s becoming incredibly hard to count the number of lies that people are hearing.”

“They don’t know what to believe. They don’t know what to count on. But you guys break through,” he told his producers. “That’s why I invited you to the White House. I’m looking for a job.”
