Travis Kelce isn’t going to get down on the ground and present Taylor Swift with a ring without a “rock-solid prenuptial agreement.” Life & Style Report.
“There’s no way Taylor is walking down the aisle without a prenuptial agreement,” a source told the magazine in a report published Wednesday.
The two are reportedly discussing the terms of an agreement, but nothing has been solidified yet due to extenuating circumstances.
“The process is just being held up by their schedules, and the prenuptial agreement process is obviously complicated by the large amount of money involved on both sides,” the source explained.
“The relationship is further along than either Taylor or Travis would like to admit, as they have considered themselves unofficially engaged for some time and are both 100 percent committed to spending the rest of their lives together and starting a family.”
Page Six did not immediately receive a response from representatives for Swift and Kelsey.
In December 2023, Us exclusively reported that the football star had asked the singer’s father, Scott Swift, for permission to marry, and he reportedly expressed his support for Kelsey “wholeheartedly.”
Additionally, a source close to Kelsey’s camp told Page Six earlier this month that an engagement was “coming soon.”
The “Karma” singer and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, both 34, have been dating for just over a year.
The pair went public with their relationship in September 2023, when Taylor cheered him on at an NFL game against the Chicago Bears at his home stadium at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.
Shortly after the announcement, Kelsey purchased a $6 million mansion to protect her privacy and made it clear she was serious about her relationship with Taylor.
She cheered on the Chiefs in a total of 13 games last season, including Super Bowl 55, where she watched the Chiefs win their third championship.
Kelsey has traveled to South America, Asia, and Europe To see Taylor perform on her record-breaking Erasu tour.
He surprised fans by joining her onstage at her London show in July.
The Eras Tour is scheduled to run through the 2024-2025 football season, but a source told People magazine in July that the 14-time Grammy Award-winning artist will “attend as many games as he can.”
Last December, she made it clear that she would unashamedly support her husband, even if it meant being in the public eye.
“Being in a public relationship means seeing him do what he loves, being committed to each other, and not caring if there are other people around,” she said in Time magazine’s 2023 Person of the Year profile.
