WWE’s Randy Orton offers unfiltered 2-word take on LeBron James when asked about NBA’s GOAT debate

The debate over who is the greatest NBA player of all time remains a hot topic. When sports fans debate who the greatest players of all time are two names that often come up: Michael Jordan and LeBron James.

Recently, when the conversation surrounding the league’s GOAT came up with WWE star Randy Orton, he made it clear who he wasn’t endorsing.

“LeBron, s***,” Orton said in a video posted to Twitter. WWE YouTube Channel In conversation with Cody Rhodes.

Rose then moved on to a question about the WWE GOAT, bringing up the James vs. Jordan debate.

“How does it feel to know you’re part of that conversation?” Rhodes asked Orton.

“I don’t think there’s a GOAT…I like Mount Rushmore. I like top five, top 10, top 20 guys. But I don’t think there’s a GOAT,” Orton responded.

Orton has held the world title 14 times. “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair and John Cena top WWE’s all-time list of world title reigns with 16 each, but Orton’s 14 reigns are the most among active wrestlers.

Orton didn’t explicitly name Jordan as the NBA GOAT, so it’s unclear if he doesn’t like the Los Angeles Lakers star or if he thinks the Chicago Bulls legend is simply a better player.

During his historic run with the Bulls, Jordan won six NBA championships, including two three-peat victories, was named NBA Finals MVP six times, and won two Olympic gold medals while with the USA Men’s Basketball National Team.

By comparison, James has won four NBA championships and been named NBA Finals MVP four times. Last year, he broke Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s all-time scoring record. Last week, James won his third Olympic gold medal when the U.S. national team defeated France at the Paris Summer Olympics.
