Mike McDaniel’s new Dolphins look goes viral

There’s been a lot of talk in Miami about Mike McDaniels’ evolution, but it has nothing to do with football.

McDaniel, who wore clear glasses and slicked-back side-parted hair last season, is sporting tinted sunglasses and a more unkempt hairstyle this time around.

His brown curls hung loosely over his forehead, and his beard was not as short-cut as it once was.

The 41-year-old coach looked slimmer and wore a navy blue zip-up jacket with the Dolphins logo.

It was only a matter of time before the internet erupted in comments about McDaniel’s appearance at the press conference.

“If the city of Miami is a person, Mike McDaniel becomes more and more of that person with every day he spends there.” Someone wrote About X.

“Mike McDaniel went to Miami one time for spring break and it changed his whole life, lol.” another added.

McDaniel did not tell reporters about his appearance.

He’s focused on building on an 11-6 season in which the Dolphins ranked first in the NFL with 401.3 yards of offense.

The Dolphins practiced against the Buccaneers on Friday ahead of their final preseason game.

Miami’s season opener will be on September 8th at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
