Everybody loves Raymond and Carol’s Second Chance Star Patricia Heaton told PragerU CEO Marissa Streit that Christians need to side with the Jews and Israel because “Christ’s blood relatives are being murdered,” adding that believers should understand that “the history of the church” includes making sacrifices for their faith.
“Christ’s Real Family is Being Murdered” – Heaton said “The Jewish people, the blood relatives of our Savior, are being murdered,” Streit said. “We have to stand up for them. We have been grafted into Israel by God’s mercy, so we have to stand up for them.”
Heaton detailed why Christians should support Israel and why he believes the Catholic Church has not spoken out enough about the war between Israel and the Hamzas.
of middle Starr said he thinks the church’s logic is, “If we say we support Israel, what about the Palestinians who are being harmed?”
“And we have to pray for the Palestinians who are suffering because they elected leaders who ordered their armies to slaughter innocent Jews,” Heaton said. “That’s why they’re suffering, and so we have to stand against it.”
“This is not Israel’s fault,” the actress continued, “Hamas started the war. Israel defends Israel and Israelis and Jews, so Hamas has to deal with what it started, and we have to take a very strong stance against that.”

Heaton added that it “became clear” that this was a “real problem” when he “saw first-hand the amount of anti-Semitism on campus.”
“You could say that during World War II we didn’t really know and so we didn’t say anything, but that’s not the case now,” she says. “We see what’s going on. We see the propaganda in the minds of young people who want to be involved in something that matters, and they’re being fooled by far-left, anti-Semitic professors.”
“While ordinary people were going about their lives, these psychopaths were murdering Jews, then Christians, plotting how to destroy Western civilization and democracy and introduce Sharia law,” Heaton claimed.
“Unfortunately, we thought everything would be OK because we’re normal, nice people, but now we know that it’s not and we have to do something about it,” the actress said.
“I try my best to use my platform to reach out to Christians. [October 7th Coalition]”We need to be visibly and vocally in support of the Jewish people and the right of Israel to exist and combat anti-Semitism, and we really need to focus on our campuses,” Heaton explained.
Asked to respond to those who argue why focus on Israel when America has other problems, Heaton said, “If you look at what people have sacrificed for their faith throughout the history of the church, you’ll see that they have sacrificed their lives for the church, and I think this is definitely one of those.”
“The blood relatives of Christ are being murdered. The Jewish people, the blood relatives of our Savior, are being murdered,” she said. “We have to stand up for them. We have been grafted into Israel by the mercy of God, and we have to stand up for them.”
