Walmart and Burger King partnering for exclusive deals

Walmart is rolling out Burger King perks as a new benefit for paid Walmart+ members.

The new dining perks are a partnership between Walmart and its restaurant brand Burger King and were included in Walmart+ memberships starting Thursday.

The deal will allow Walmart+ members to enjoy a 25% discount on Burger King digital orders every day, the retail giant said in a press release.

Next month, Burger King will offer Walmart+ members a Whopper sandwich as a free perk with digital purchases once every three months, according to Walmart.

Retail giant Burger King said the 25% discount and free Whopper offer will be available at participating restaurants in the U.S. Burger King has more than 19,400 restaurants worldwide.

To take advantage of the dining perks, Walmart+ members “must link their membership to an existing Burger King Loyalty Perks account” or sign up for the fast-food chain’s loyalty program if they’re not already members, according to Walmart.

Amazon, Walmart and Target all offer paid memberships. What are the perks?

Burger King’s rewards program is free to join, while a Walmart+ membership costs $12.95 per month or $98 per year.

Walmart said the dining rewards are its “latest effort to provide even more value to Walmart+ members,” following its partnerships with Expedia for travel rewards and Paramount Global for Paramount+.

The retail giant said Burger King Rewards are “designed to save members time and money in response to their busy lifestyles where grocery shopping, meal planning and cooking aren’t always possible.”
