The search for a hiker who went missing in Glacier National Park is now in its fourth day.
Grant Marcuccio, 32, of Whitefish, Montana, was reported missing to park rangers Sunday evening by people he had been with that day.
“Marcuccio became separated from his group while hiking from Heavens Peak to McPartland Peak,” a press release from the National Park Service (NPS) stated. “He was last seen en route to McPartland. Marcuccio did not arrive at the rendezvous point as planned.”
Rescue teams have been searching for Marcucho since Monday using two planes, rangers and search teams from Bear Air Rescue. A Forest Service helicopter sent searchers to the scene and flew overhead Wednesday looking for Marcucho.
