In their own words (CEO Colton Patterson):
Something I realized pretty early on was that no one was going to care unless I just put it in front of them and showed them that I could add value to their lives. I suppose I could start out with drawing and post as much as I wanted, but until I got in front of people and they knew I had credibility and mental strength, most people weren’t going to care.
I just think cowboys are cool.
On Trump’s fundraising:
This has nothing to do with politics. I was very moved by what happened and wanted to use my position to do something that goes beyond controversy and arguments.
It doesn’t really matter to me what nasty things people say online or the politics surrounding it. All I know is that at the end of the day, I used my special privilege to give back to people who need it, and that’s all that matters to me.
