Former Fox News and Newsmax host Eric Bolling has sounded a warning to his Republican colleagues, saying former President Trump’s campaign waited too long to “shake things up” after Vice President Harris entered the race.

Bolling, a friend of Trump’s, said he warned the former president and his team that waiting until after the Democratic National Convention to begin attacking Harris was not the right idea.
“Guys, you’ve waited too long, you’ve waited too long,” he said.
Bolling urged Trump adviser Corey Lewandowski to “turn things around while we still have the chance.”
“I don’t know if we have a chance yet. We’re losing. We’re losing the election. We’re losing the presidential election,” Bolling said.
Bolling is among several Republicans who have urged Trump to attack Harris in the weeks since she announced her campaign.
Her campaign has broken donation records, hosted sold-out rallies across the country and sparked excitement at the Democratic National Convention this week as she was officially named the Democratic presidential nominee.
She has begun to outperform Trump in several states, forcing pollsters to change Republican-dominated battleground states to swing states.
Bolling said he believes if Trump loses the election there will never be another Republican president “in our lifetimes.”
“Because look what’s happened: The left, the Democrats, have taken a terrible candidate with no policies, no policy ideas, a bunch of failures, and they’ve redefined who that person is,” he said.
Bolling pointed to ratings figures for TV networks covering the Democratic National Convention this week, saying MSNBC had more viewers than Fox News, despite Fox being the larger network.
Democrats’ current enthusiasm is “overwhelming,” he said.
“They’re trying to redefine the Democratic Party. They’re trying to say the Democratic Party is the party of patriots and cares about the country,” Bolling continued. “They’re wearing camo hats with Kamala Harris’ name on them. Camouflage. That’s who we are.”
