Project 2025 is a set of policy proposals developed by the conservative think tank The Heritage Foundation, and the proposals do not reflect Donald Trump’s official plans for 2025.
But Democrats have not stopped clinging to the proposal in order to instill bottomless fear in voters.
“At the Democratic National Convention, Democrats took the opportunity to lie about the Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025, characterizing it as an authoritarian blueprint for a dystopian future,” Blaze News Tonight’s Jill Savage wrote in a statement.
Ryan Walker, vice president of Heritage Action for America, believes that, ironically, Democrats are projecting their own failure to come up with sound policy proposals onto Project 2025.
“This is an attempt by the DNC and Kamala Harris to create a boogeyman and use fear and that concept to get people to believe that this plan, which they’re obviously lying about, is going to have some negative impact on the lives of the American people,” Walker explained.
“But all of this is because Biden and Harris don’t have a track record that is widely accepted and agreed upon by the American people. They don’t have policies. They can’t say, ‘If we keep doing what we’ve been doing for the last four years, things will only get better.’ So they’ve created a boogeyman to instill fear in the American people,” he continues.
The Democratic Party’s lack of policy ideas is so obvious that Kamala is instead borrowing policy proposals from Trump.
“Kamala Harris stole ideas from Donald Trump and J.D. Vance with her strategies of eliminating the tax on tips and increasing the child tax credit, and unfortunately, she stole the idea of food price caps from Joseph Stalin,” Walker said.
