“I’m a celebrity,” rapper Juvenile declared as he disembarked from an American Airlines flight after being asked to leave his first class seat and move to economy class.
“Hey, they’re trying to kick me off the plane. They’re trying to kick me out of first class,” said Juvenile, whose real name is Terius Gray. “They’re not trying to put me in economy class.”

The “Back That Azz Up” rapper was on a flight with his wife, Shadonna Jones, when they were asked to move from first class to economy class.
“Where are you going to put him?” Jones asked, and the flight attendant replied, “Coach.”
“Absolutely not,” the rapper’s wife responded.
Ms Jones, who was not asked to move from first class to coach class, added: “I’m his wife, why should they demote him and let me stay?”
“I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life,” Juvenile added.
“I’m a public figure,” the rapper continued, “I’m telling you, there will be retribution for this. I’m gonna get off that plane. I’m not gonna let people disrespect me like that.”
“I can’t allow you guys to pick me out of everyone on the plane and disrespect me, so I’m getting off the plane,” Juvenile added, rising from his seat. “There’s no way you could disrespect me.”
“Of all the people that were on the plane, you picked a celebrity,” the “Set It Off” rapper added.
Juvenile later posted a follow-up video on Instagram showing how frequently he flies first class on American Airlines, adding that he “knows a thing or two about first class.”
“American Airlines is shit. All my money I spent on you bitches,” the rapper said. “They tryna put me in economy class, motherfucker, I never flew economy class. I feel ripped off.”

“I feel scammed by @americanair. I’m already in my seat and they’re going to dump me in economy class?” the rapper wrote in the caption. “Don’t worry Fort Worth. I’m on another plane with a better airline.”
American Airlines spokesperson said “There was an unscheduled change in aircraft type which affected his seat assignment and we regret that he was not notified prior to boarding,” Page Six said, adding: “A member of our team has spoken directly with Mr Gray to attempt to resolve the situation.”
“American Airlines strives to provide a positive experience for all travelers and apologizes for Mr. Gray’s recent experience,” the spokesperson said.
