When reports broke Thursday night that the Disney Store had pulled all merchandise from Grooming Syndicate’s latest flop, the $180 million streaming series, InterWebDotNetz went nuts. Acolyte.
For those who don’t know Acolyte “The gayest Star Wars It recorded the lowest audience score in history. Star Wars It’s history: It was abruptly and publicly canceled by Disney earlier this week.
After that, the product disappeared from my memory.

And Goods Back.
So we assume the worst about Disney because Disney is the worst because they’re trying to homosexualize little kids and make them hopelessly confused. So, here’s what I think happened…
In a nutshell: Residual.
This is just my educated guess, but it’s the only thing that makes sense.
One of the main reasons studios are removing content from their streaming series is because Disney is willow The main way that a series’ production company can avoid paying residuals is by not paying them to those who are contractually required to do so – typically the writers, directors, producers and lead actors.
In the theatrical world, residual profits are usually (though not always) calculated based on post-breakeven box office results: after the studio has recouped its production and advertising costs, everyone gets a cut of the net profits.
Streaming residual revenue is generally based on three criteria: 1) the number of viewers, 2) the number of people who subscribe to the platform and have access to the show/movie, and 3) the growth in subscribers around the time of the show/movie’s release.
In other words, residual profits from streaming aren’t based on net profits. Studios can’t say that. Okay, so we’re all making money here. Studios could end up paying residual fees based on overall subscriber numbers for shows and movies that no one watched, which doesn’t make economic sense.
Let’s take a closer look…
In addition to residual profits, there are financial costs to hosting a show that no one watches.
Finally, Acolyte It embarrasses Disney in a way that no one thought possible, and from my spotty memory, Disney has never cancelled a show as loudly as this one. Acolyte Just a few days/weeks after the season finale aired.
So what does this have to do with product removal…?
It’s the same thing… The contract may require those same people to get a share of the commercialization.
But even if it doesn’t contain any residue…
Imagine the huge losses in designing, manufacturing, transporting and storing it if not enough people buy it. this According to the report: last month I pre-ordered the upcoming six pack. Acolyte Amazon action figures. On Amazon, 50+ means 50 to 100. Anything that sells more than 100 will have a “100+” badge. If that’s the case, and there’s no reason to believe that it isn’t, Acolyte A collection justifies the costs of design, merchandising, storage and transportation.
To give you an idea of just how low the “over 50” range is, the novel I wrote last year only received about one millionth of the publicity it received from readers over 50. Acolyte I received it, but was disappointed to see that it had “50+” sales on Amazon 10 months after release.
So.
To save money, Disney stopped selling merchandise.
Disney has removed the product from sale in an attempt to put the embarrassing incident behind them.
after that.
Social justice activists online lost their minds and Disney caved, even though the groomers would lose money by continuing to sell their product.
What I like about this, and I really like it, is that the social justice Star Wars Fans. 10% of people who complain about the discontinuation of merchandise sales are AcolyteI don’t think anyone bought it Acolyte Goods. As a critical drinker, Point out:
The cold, hard truth is that the fictional “modern audience” Lucasfilm has been chasing for a decade simply doesn’t exist. Never has, never will, and the people who shout the loudest about it on social media aren’t actually interested in shows like this one. Acolyte And they don’t even bother to watch it. All they care about is what it represents, what message it sends. Unfortunately, that’s not going to translate to profits for your studio. The reality is, Disney took a gamble and lost big on this one.
And yet, Disney spent a decade degrading their core fans, losing them, and allowing the social justice tail to wag the dog, which is why the merchandise magically returned. willowDisney probably Acolyte The series itself is set to be removed from Disney+, but that won’t be allowed by the Social Justice Warriors – the only fans Disney has left after alienating “regular people.”
