Another woke sellout: Dan Orlovsky backs down on protecting girls

Football season is upon us again, but whether we deserve it or not is another matter entirely.

Because if playing eight years in the NFL, making $14 million as a backup quarterback, and then becoming an analyst for ESPN makes your daughter a transgender victim, maybe we need to rethink some of our priorities.

Would you rather have the name on your gravestone be that of a loving Christian father or an NFL analyst on ESPN?

I’m talking about Dan Orlovsky, eunuch extraordinaire.

Orlovsky doesn’t need a job or an income; what he really needs as a professed Christian is a spiritual enema, because he’s talking complete crap.

According to Out kickOrlovsky posted “Protect your daughters” on X earlier this month after two men punched a woman in an Olympic boxing ring and stole her gold medal. He later deleted the post, saying it “doesn’t represent ESPN.” This comes shortly after Samantha Ponder, who has been ESPN’s lead pregame analyst since Chris Berman retired and has openly criticized deviant men who try to get involved in women’s sports, was fired ahead of the NFL season.

Orlovsky seems to think that being known as an unknown ESPN analyst for five minutes a few times a week is more important than protecting his daughter’s dignity. Would you rather have a loving Christian father or an ESPN NFL analyst on your tombstone?

Orlovsky’s actions are despicable, but they are also typical. They reflect the current state of American masculinity. That’s why apologists for Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz are positioning him as an alternative for non-masculine fathers who are in touch with their inner child. They know that their target audience is the legions of people like Dan Orlovsky who have willingly sacrificed themselves and their offspring to the darkness of the zeitgeist.

Boys, watch some football and get out of our way while we burn down civilization and hunt down that bad kicker, Harrison Butker, in between free abortions being offered outside the Democratic National Convention.

God help us, because if those demons are willing to openly sacrifice innocent children to gain power rather than you protect and safeguard your own children, then we deserve all that is coming.

In Dan Orlovsky’s personal life outside of ESPN, I sincerely hope that the men he’s dating are at least giving him embarrassed sidelong glances. And what about his pastor? Will someone confront him about his cowardice? If I publicly betrayed my family and my faith on that level, I hope someone who cares about me would slap me instead of asking for fantasy football advice.

We cannot allow ourselves to want or need anything more than we want or need the Lord, much less a job covering football for ESPN or season tickets. Jesus was very clear about what will happen if we deny Him.

By all means, put on your favorite jersey, order some buffalo wings, and lounge in your man cave to watch the big games of the coming months, but when your daughter needs you to be her hero, you must answer the call with no excuses or exceptions. It’s either that or a burden, and you don’t deserve to die for your failure just because the burden wrapped around your neck and dragging you to the abyss of eternity happens to be your team’s favorite colors.
