Special Counsel Jack Smith on Tuesday filed new indictments against former President Trump in the election interference case.
The new charges narrow the scope of allegations against the Republican presidential candidate following a Supreme Court ruling that granted broad immunity to former presidents.

A source familiar with the matter told Fox News that talks over an indictment are unlikely to speed things up and that a trial is unlikely to take place before the November election.
