Travis Kelce explains his Andy Reid-inspired training camp mustache

Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce “New Heights” Podcast On Wednesday, and during a new episode, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end gave listeners a sneak peek into training camp.

“You've lost some of your facial hair,” Jason, 36, told his brother, as he launched into a conversation about the Chiefs' time at training camp and how they “don't care” about how they look there.

“Oh yeah, I always do an Andy Reid feature, baby,” joked Travis, 34, referring to the legendary Chiefs coach and his famous mustache.

The three-time Super Bowl champion normally sports a beard, but this time he shaved it off and sported a full moustache over his coach's clean-shaven face.

Jason, who retired from the Philadelphia Eagles earlier this year, was full of compliments on his brother's beard, saying, “It looks great. It's clean.”

Travis shaved his beard but chose to keep his hair longer, explaining that the NFL star “gave it up” and “put his moustache on, like, a whole other character.”

“I changed my hair,” he said. “I don't have a shaved head. I'm not a super tough guy.”

After all, Travis, who just signed a $100 million-plus deal with Amazon for his podcast, said he's “just having fun.”

“During training camp, I don't care how I look,” he said, “I just want to be out there and have the most fun experience ever.”

Speaking of fun experiences, the Chiefs star and Kentucky Derby fan has another reason to attend the race.

On Tuesday, horse racing team Valor International announced that Travis, who called his girlfriend Taylor Swift his “top performer” on the show, has purchased a stake in a racehorse aptly named Swift Delivery.
