Tulsi Gabbard joins RFK Jr. in endorsing Donald Trump

While Democrats were basking in the aftermath of the abortion-heavy Democratic National Convention, Donald Trump was hatching a plan to grab attention.

And it may have been one of the best things he ever did.

Not only did he receive RFK Jr.'s endorsement, but the former independent candidate suggested in an interview that more Democrats would support Trump's campaign.

“I think President Trump will be making a series of announcements about other Democrats who will be joining the campaign. You know, I want to make America whole again, and President Trump wants that too,” RFK Jr. said in the interview.

“If we need to come together to take back our country, then that's what we need to do.” Sara Gonzalez Comments on “Sara Gonzales Unfiltered.”

One former Democrat was Tulsi Gabbard, who endorsed the former president in a speech following her endorsement of RFK.

“I am proud to stand before you here today, whether you're a Democrat, Republican or Independent,” Gabbard said. “If you love our country as much as I do, if you value peace and freedom, then I urge you to join me in doing everything in our power to save this nation, to elect President Donald J. Trump and send him back to the White House to do the difficult job of saving our country and serving our people.”

Blaze TV Contributor Matthew Marsden believes this is shaping up to be a great team.

“I think we've seen someone try to kill him. I think we've seen RFK get screwed by his own party and not even given security. He's going to take a much tougher stance. And I think we're seeing this across the board with Gabbard,” Marsden said.

The question remains as to who else RFK was referring to in regards to Democrats supporting Trump.

“I don't know anyone other than Tulsi,” Gonzalez comments.
